AT THE BEGINNING OF THIS PROJECT THE COMPANY WAS CALLED TICKR, a placeholder name they’d never really intended to keep.
From a strategy perspective they wanted a brand people could rally behind - something with a stong ‘if we do nothing, we die’ POv. Not a feel-good version of robinhood.
That lead to the brand idea: rise up and the name: circa5000
A name with 2,500+ years of future thinking built right in.
